Dr. Natasha Jackson began her studies at University of Florida to acquire her Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Sciences. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she grew a passion for physical health and wellness, eventually starting her own in-home personal training company, Defined Changes, in 2006. After years of working with clients that were limited with personal training due to physical ailments, she decided to further her education, and in 2011 she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University.
For over a decade, Dr. Jackson has practiced physical therapy in multiple settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health. In late 2020, Dr. Jackson founded Starting Pointe Therapy and Wellness, an outpatient clinic that offers orthopedic and women’s health physical therapy and wellness services to Florida’s Treasure Coast.
Dr. Jackson is excited to join the PSL Health Center team, where she can continue to provide one-on-one individualized care that surpasses industry standards. “My goal through therapy and wellness interventions is to empower my patients to love and appreciate the bodies they live in, to restore their connection to self, and prepare them to feel unstoppable as they regain full function!”
When she is not in the office, Dr. Jackson loves spending time with her family! She enjoys gardening/landscaping, baking, and cooking Jamaican cuisine. She is an active member and volunteer at Christ Fellowship PSL campus. During football season, you can find her screaming and cheering on the Treasure Coast Spartans’ sideline, volunteering as Team Mom for her son’s travel football team. She also bleeds orange and blue…Go Gators!
